Sankofa Odessey 2006 on the move again... this time to St. Vincent and the neighboring Grenadine islands. 3 boats this time (A we missed you) and about 24 folks. A wonderful week of sun, sand, sunsets, snorkeling and of course sailing.

So after exploring Barcelona and Mallorca, 15 members of the crew continued on to Morocco for a bit of post-sailing exploration of the Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains and the edge of the Sahara desert. Enjoy!

My journey began in Barcelona - first trip to Espana and definitely not the last. This is all a part of the Sankofa Odyssey 2005 sail in Mallorca. Four boats, 40 people from across the US sailing the southeast coast of the largest island of the Balerics. These pictures tell the story of this adventure. I hope you enjoy!

So it's New Year's Eve 2004 and I'm in Vermont with the Thrillseeker's crew and Michelle mentions that her and her husband were putting together a sailing trip to Belize. ONE - I've always wanted to go to Belize and TWO - I've been wanting to trying a sailing trip. 8 months later this is what happened. ENJOY!
